The following are terms and conditions for renting apartments. If you have a question or concern which is not covered here, please contact us. We look forward to your stay with us!
In order to book the apartment we need a reservation deposit of 20% of the total amount of your stay. The reservation will only be confirmed once the total reservation payment is received.
Payments may be made via bank wire directly into our bank account or online via PayPal. Please not that all wire transfer fees will be charged on your end. An additional option to send the reservation deposit is through Western Union Money Transfer, which has locations in over 190 countries.
As is our policy, your reservation deposit is non-refundable if you cancel or modify the dates of your reservation. In the case of a "No-Show" the reservation will be treated as a cancellation. Apartmentinchile.com will not be held responsible for cancellations or modifications of the dates for ANY REASON.
Please verify and confirm your booking dates before making the reservation, since your reservation is only valid for the dates you schedule. Provided you decide to change the previously made reservation dates, deposits related to that reservation dates will not be refunded. If the guest wishes to make a new reservation a new payment will have to be made.
CHECK-IN: We know what it's like to arrive in Santiago after an all-night flight, so you will be able to check-in upon arrival.after 8am free of charge, before this time we charge an extra night. If there are 2 guests at the same time we will help you to wait in one of our other aparmtents.
CHECK-OUT: At any time before 12:00pm. If guest would like a later check-out (after 12:00pm), guest must reserve the property for an additional day (subject to availability).
Please bear in mind that you can NOT store bags/luggage in the apartment building nor in our office.
At the day of arrival, we will meet you at the apartment to sign the rental contract agreement. At that moment you must pay the full amount remainder and the security deposit when asked for. All these payments are to be made in CASH in US dollars, Chilean pesos or euros only. Please be sure to have with you the necessary funds in cash before your arrive at the apartment. We can not hand over the keys until the passenger has paid the full contract (rent more guarantee deposit and services if applicable).
Payments for accommodation are non-refundable. If you decide to shorten the length of your stay, previously made payments will not be refunded.
In the case of a "No-Show" the reservation will be treated as a cancellation. If a guest does not check-in on the reserved date and time (and has not notified Apartmentinchile.com of any delays), the apartment will be released after 12 hours from the check-in time.
To cancel a booking we simply send an email to apartmentinchile@gmail.com.
- Advances or guaranteed reservations will not be returned if the client cancel your reservation after the payment.
Apartmentinchile.com and landlords reserve the right to refuse admission of guets to their properties. The use of the property by more people than allowed will result in immediate cancellation of the contract. Guests who use the apartment as a motel or don't respect the other residents with loud parties and bothering other residents we will ask you to leave immidiately without refund of payments.
Please be advised that the apartment you are renting is located within a condominium which contains certain amenities and common areas (including but not limited to the swimming pool, gym, elevators, sauna, alarm system, etc..) which may from time to time not be fully functional or operational or may be under repair as managed by the building administration such that the use of these areas and/or amenities may be unavailable or limited during your stay in the apartment. In this context, while we recognize and regret any resulting inconvenience to our guests, the owner of the apartment will not be responsible for any such events of outage or unavailability and shall have no responsibility or obligation to grant any discount or refund of any of the rental fee as a result of any such circumstances.
